Cutting Audio and Video

It should be possible to cut out sections of the video and recorded audio.

Not sure if I just can’t figure it out, but Cutting/Trimming does what you would expect from cutting.

On macOS:

I cut in two places → select the inner section and click on “Delete Section” (keyboard shortcut does nothing here). This section then disappears, but the space is replaced with the content of the left-side timeline containing the exact content I wanted to remove. The audio can’t be cut, which is also necessary.
