Previewing video just stops for no apparent reason

I’ve recorded a 7 minute video. The recording seemed to go fine. When I preview the video, the playback is fine up until some arbitrary moment, but then it decides to stop for no apparent reason. The timeline displays the proper length of time, but the playback just comes to a stop. No errors.
